Service.

These terms are an agreement between you and Agent Creative, a studio based in Connecticut, United States (“we”, “us”), which operates StrategyLab. By using StrategyLab you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What StrategyLab is

StrategyLab is a simulator. It runs rule-based trading strategies against historical and live price data and reports what would have happened under stated assumptions. It places no orders, holds no funds and connects to no brokerage or exchange account. All trades shown are hypothetical.

2. Not investment advice

Simulated results. Hypothetical performance has limits and is not a guarantee of future returns. Educational use only, not investment advice.

Nothing on this site or in the tool is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset, and nothing here takes account of your circumstances. We are not a broker, dealer or investment adviser. Decisions you make with real money are yours alone. Please read the risk disclosure.

3. Accounts

• You can try the tool without an account. Saving and sharing need one.
• Give a working email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One person per account. Do not share sign-in details or resell access.

4. Plans and payment

• The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the Pricing page.
• Pro is a subscription billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews each month until canceled.
• To cancel, contact us through the Contact page from your account email. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid for, and your account then returns to the Free limits. Your saved work is not deleted.
• Payments already made are not refunded for part-used periods, except where the law requires otherwise. If something went wrong, tell us and we will look at it fairly.
• If we change the price of Pro, the new price applies from your next renewal after we have told you.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, or use the service to mislead others, for example by presenting a simulated result as a record of real trading;
• attempt to get around plan limits, probe or disrupt the service, or access data that is not yours;
• scrape the service or use it to redistribute the underlying market data in bulk;
• remove the disclaimer from shared results or exports.

6. Your content

The strategies, settings and sessions you save are yours. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run the service, including showing a shared result to anyone who has its link. You can delete them at any time.

7. Market data

Price data comes from third parties, mainly Coinbase Exchange’s public market data, with Binance’s public data as a fallback. It may be delayed, incomplete, revised or wrong, and it may become unavailable. The tool states which source and period a test used. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of any market data.

8. The service, as it is

We work to keep StrategyLab accurate and available, and the engine is tested against hand-worked cases. Even so, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Simulations depend on assumptions about fills, fees and slippage that will differ from real markets.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Agent Creative is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of StrategyLab or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, in which case those limits apply only as far as permitted.

10. Ending or changing the service

You can stop using StrategyLab at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue a paid feature you are using, we will give reasonable notice.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will update the date at the top and tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, unless the consumer protection law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
